Ex-Professor of Biswabharati Sangit Bhaban, renowned singer and actress Swastika Mukhopadhyay, daughter of Dr Gobinda Gopal Mukhopadhyay and Madhuri
Mukhopadhyay, breathed last on 26 October’22 Wednesday at the age of 66 years in a private hospital at Kolkata. Her education started in Santiniketan, wherefrom she achieved expertise widely in various sort of songs created by Tagore, Atulprasad, Rajanikanta, Dwijendralal, Dilipkumar. WBDWAA expressed deep sorrow and high respects to her artistic contribution.
